Supporting Neurodivergent Families Through Every Step of the Perinatal Journey
Be Seen, Be Heard, Be You!

In Partnership With
You Are Not Alone
Whether you're a midwife navigating the demands of shift work or a mother feeling lost in the chaos of pregnancy and parenthood, neurodivergence can add layers of unseen challenges. I’ve been there — pregnant, masking my struggles, and unaware of my ADHD.
But I found a community, knowledge, and understanding. And now, I want the same for you.
We See You
...when I was pregnant with my third baby, I had no idea I had ADHD.
I was a midwife, caring for others while navigating the challenges of pregnancy myself, unaware of the invisible struggles I was masking every day.
If you're pregnant, feeling overwhelmed, or even a neurodivergent midwife trying to stay afloat in a busy system, you are not alone.
We see you.
We understand.
And we're here to support you.

We had brilliant team training today from Laura Spence, exploring the intersection of neurodivergence, pregnancy and domestic abuse.
Laura brings her own lived experience and expertise in working in pregnancy; there were so many fascinating and helpful insights. This included understanding the high level of misdiagnosis in women, neurodivergence, and the impact of hormone fluctuation, which has physical, emotional and practical implications for women and girls during their periods, pregnancy and menopause.
Laura also highlighted the research on ADHD and ASD and the increased risk of both experiencing domestic abuse and using abusive behaviours. Any of us who are delivering services to children and adults impacted by domestic abuse must improve our understanding and the accessibility of our services.
Highly recommend reaching out to Laura for training in this area 🙂
